Orchard Management

We are passionate about growing fruit, and our ultimate goal is to support our growers and develop high-performing orchards that deliver maximum returns.

However, at Pivot Horticulture, we operate a bit differently from the 'orchard management' service that you traditionally see in the kiwifruit industry. We've stripped away the baggage and the negative connotations that often go alongside conventional orchard management. Instead, we offer innovative services focusing on property and production, with our growers at the forefront of everything we do.

Machinery Contracting

We operate a mowing and mulching service. We mow with a multi-clean unit, offering an eco-friendly alternative to chemical weed control alongside regular mowing and mulching service. This is a unique service that Pivot Hort provides, and by mowing and multi-cleaning at the same time we increase efficiency, orchard sustainability and productivity.

We offer machinery contracting services to both internal and external growers.

Harvest Operations

We can provide expert harvest operations as an additional service to growers who don't need complete orchard management.

We take care of the harvest operations from start to finish, managing the entire process, , including health, safety and hygiene, logistics and the cartage of fruit to your choice of post-harvest facility.

Our team now manage over 220 hectares encompassing forty kiwifruit orchards throughout the Eastern and Western Bay of Plenty. We cover an array of altitudes, a mix of conventional and organic growing methods and varieties include green, gold and red kiwifruit.
